Winter Hiking in the South Suburbs

I spent the weekend walking around some trails in the south suburbs. On Saturday, an unfortunate grey and dreary winter day, I spent a little time at Izaak Walton in Homewood, and on Sunday, a much sunnier and pleasant winter day, I hiked a nice trail in Mokena with my sister, cousin and his wife. The first two pictures are from Izaak Walton and the second two are from the Mokena trail. See my cousin’s post on Midwestern hiking for more inspiration.

  1. thanks…I enjoyed a lot with all these snow landscapes…specially because in my town in Spain it´s really difficult to see anything like this…
