I don’t know if anyone is reading anymore, but my apologies for not posting in several months. My freelancing stopped for a few months as I completed a five-month project for Crain’s Chicago Business. I researched the “Fast Fifty,” the fifty fastest-growing companies in the Chicago area, as well as the “Who’s Who” list. Read the Fast Fifty here. The Who’s Who list will be published next week.
In other news, I moved to Japan! Although I don’t live near Lake Michigan anymore, I do live right off the Sea of Japan, in a town named Namerikawa-shi (滑川). The city’s name roughly translates to “smooth river city.” So for the next year or so, this blog will now detail stories about life in rural Japan. I have a few projects about Chicago still in the works, so I still plan to blog about the Windy City in some capacity.
Thanks for reading!
