Unrest Around the World

With unrest in Libya and last week’s earthquake and tsunami in Japan, it has been a tough few weeks for many people around the world.  As a result of this tumultuous time, I have been writing more than usual, perhaps as a form of therapy or meditation.  I wrote this essay about life in Japan for the Chicago webzine Gapers Block.  You can read the essay here.

    I agree that It’s been tough months. an earthquake hit NZ too. I was like, whats going on the world!!??
