Three Little Things (Kanazawa Edition)

On a rainy Saturday this past weekend, I journeyed by train to Kanazawa, a well-preserved old castle city in Ishikawa-ken with impeccable architecture and an international vibe.  Most of my time was spent shopping and touring the more modern side of Kanazawa.  I’ll write more about the historic side in a separate post.

1. Kanazawa Station (金沢駅) – a stunning example of modern Japanese architecture at its best.

2. Wall of Happiness at Patio

3. Banana Cake at Smeets Cafe (バナナケーキ)
